Earlier than you might think. Many programmes engage us at the moment they have to act — a board meeting in two weeks, a financing round closing, a manufacturing transition already underway. We can still help in those situations, but the highest-impact engagements start with meaningful lead time. As a rough guide, 6+ weeks ahead of a critical milestone works well for strategic, CMC or diligence-focused work; longer if there's a chance we'll recommend reshaping experiments or generating new data ahead of the milestone. The earlier we're engaged, the more our advisory direction can actually shape outcomes — not just describe them.
